For DWB - Paul Stanley, 1976

1976. Anaheim. The greatest frontman - and arguably the greatest vocalist in the history of Amercian rock and roll - slaps on a Gibson Flying V and belts out an anthem that is played almost as much today as it was 34 years ago.

A little redemption for my boy Ace, and a shout out to the Greek God of modern Rock and Roll - Paul Stanley. Not to mention the introduction by Flo and Eddie. Mothers of Invention? Anyone?

Trivia 1 - the stage was alive and full of hydraulics. You can do your own searches on how it moved and shifted depending on what song they were playing.

Trivia 2 - by the time they hit Toronto, they had incorporated the "ruined castle" theme into the stage show. In this video you see stairs and risers. When I aught the tour in Sept 1976, the stage looked like a wasted bastion.

Trivia 3 - The drum riser (with the gold cats) rose over 30 feet in the air and moved forward over the audience.

Trivia 4 - They sold the whole works to Styx in 1977 and built another tour.

Trivia 5 - I have no idea why I post this shit on GFy.
