Yeah, and there was/is no bitterness and sabotage of progress by those that had to
give up control.
Making liberated governments struggle/fail was for the purpose of trying to justify the
belligerent actions of the previous occupier.
And it worked because here you are trying to advocate for colonialism.
You're comments are akin to a doctor saying that after he was run out of the
country the people have no one to treat gunshot wounds to the head but all the
while refusing to acknowledge that the doctor was the one who was shooting them in
the head to begin with.
