I'm sure your wife is a good dancer/cook/whatever, but seriously, without instruction do you really think she can compete with someone who has studied it?
Here is the same question but with a different context: Would you go to a surgeon that never went to school, but who simply said "I was always just natually good at it"?. Or go to a dentist that has "naturally been good at densitry". How about fly with on a commercial plane with a pilot that doesn't have a licence, but has "always liked planes"?
