We went to a village in Italy and you could see the American influence everywhere. And they had totally ruined the place.
It was in 1956 or 7 and you could see the shell craters and bullet holes everywhere. A division of Germans had decided to make a stand there.

Once you've gone skiing in Switzerland, the US is a waste of your time. In Switzerland it was two hours uphill in a train at dawn, skiing downhill was an all day event with restaurants along the way. In the US it's fifteen minutes in line, ten minutes up hill, for five minutes of downhill skiing.

That must of been a while ago. Today skiing in Switzerland is popular with tourists and very packed.

Not like. It IS a third World country. Went there and got the same impression as you. Didn't like it, except sea fishing in San Felipe, Gulf of California side of Baja.
