Every day on the way to work I feel bad for not checking up on this thread and tell myself I will - I want to hear some good news about Tabitha and know she's doing better... and work always gets the best of me and my time and I've just been dropping down and out of radar.

But today we just learned one of our long-term chat site members, a great guy by the nick of JTGreen, passed away in a terrible way, who was always thought of as a good man and a constant contributor - never a bad word said about him, a kind of guy who would just turn a roomful of leachers and beggars into jokers and banter...

And it got me feeling like shit enough to finally come to my senses and come put some positive wishes out to Tabitha and her terrible ordeal - and frankly hoping to get some back.

When someone is so up, and full of energy and drive and life-lust and sheer presence as Tabitha (who is really our Pussycat) you get that unconscious feeling that they'll be around forever, you just know she'll always be there, and you get to take the fact of their presence for granted - online, at the shows, on the phone - despite yourself - until the rude awakening.

This "user" who was so much more and had been part of our little online landscape for so long was snuffed out so tragically that it was a shock to realize that despite how positive and energizing his presence was, I came to take it for granted...

But Pussycat's struggle and overcoming her first biggest hurdles is amazing and so gratifying, and she came so close to buying it that I hope it makes us all stop and think a bit about how we can be so lost in the spit and venom of boardshitting and slamming the bad, and completely forget the good ones around us and how there's so much more, so many more that we actually unconsciously overlook.

AJ: thanks for the great news and all the updates.

Don: thanks for that link - just gives the horrible facts and makes Pussycat's return that much more incredible.

Sharky: you lay it out real, and gave me hope in her spunkiness.

Everyone who's posted and bumped positively and I missed here - thanks for taking up the slack and reminding us of Tabitha's fight.

Pussycat: stay strong and keep up the funk.

Good night all, let's play again tomorrow
:D
