BTW - don't forget ... I don't work for Cloud9Content. Never have. My company was contracted to handle sales and marketing. I have NO vested interest at this time, and NO reason to lie.

No reason to lie? How about the fact that your company was contracted to handle sales and marketing and if that fails or even appears to fail then it will look bad on you for potential clients.

I may not be an old time player in this game but I have been around long enough to know how things work and more specifically....The things that don't.

I occasionally offer a sale to my current client base and in the past I have even been known to offer a sale on the boards. I learned from this mistake. I still offer volume discounts but I refuse to shoot myself and other content providers in the foot by doing what a few providers did last month.

Content prices are low enough and the money is still there for the taking. No need to take it in the ass to promote yourself like what we have just seen.

I like you J...I have nothing against you...I am simply telling it like it is. Your comment about me being clueless was a bit out of line though. At least I can afford to buy a clue without dragging the rest of the content business down with me.

If I am so clueless about marketing and sales then how can I afford to travel to the number of shows and events that I have been to? Keep in mind that I do not get my way paid by my boss...I pay it on my own. How many people can say the same thing? Not too many.....

You gonna be in Montreal?
