From the Producer side of the fence this is a common scam. Talent (and even some low-rent shooters) looking for work will play up the "
never been shot before" or "
fresh new talent" angle. Sometimes you bite only to find out shortly thereafter you've been had.
For Example: back when, on-location in LA shooting some PB content we shot a girl - she was very "nervous" and "shy" but otherwise very cute. So we "kid-gloved" her until she was relaxed enough to take the leap. After we wrapped she was very excited as this was the
first time she'd ever done anything like this and the
highlight of her life, etc...
Back at the office the following week new content arrived on my desk for review. I threw it in, started watching and wouldn't you just know... It was HER in a Big Sausage Pizza scene! How could she have ever known that the same person that (shot her and) handled the PB content also handled the RealityCash material. Needless to say her PB stuff never saw the light of day after that.
