We have a false impression on how police work really works. It's not all CSI and stuff. It's always funny watching these shows because they always show these totally cool police stations. I got news for you, no one has a police station like that.
Police move really slow. It's not like it is on TV. They know who the guy is and they know he did it, but proving it is another matter. For all you know they have a team of people assigned to watch him, tracking his every move until he does it again....
I have an alarm system and a large dog. If I ever get robbed, I have insurance.
