Did you read the whole article? Sounds to me that he had some long standing beefs with Yale's agenda. If that is schizoid than I guess everyone that doesn't get along with their alma mater is schizoid. Along with the the Anita Hill hearings, when he felt unsupported by the school, there was also this:

If you read the article as a whole there is plenty for people to disagree about, but nothing in it that a reasonable person would term "schizoid"
