personally I can't say that it bothers me... but then I'm surrounded by Mexicans and haven't noticed them really using them much
but your post does make me think of the movie that is your namesake.. when Machete grabbed a couple tools and is just walking past security cos he's the 'gardener' and they say.. 'isn't it funny how you just let any Mexican in when they're carrying gardening tools? no questions asked?"
I loved how he responded when they suddenly realized what they were saying and who he was
