Never buy if itīs overpriced. If your project wonīt cover the costs of buying the domain, name the project in a different way.

Iīd always buy those TLDīs in addition of the .com if the project is important. At least for mainstream projects. If itīs just another pornsite, maybe the project is not important enough and you could choose another name to get the.com for it.

I donīt like those ones because surfers often type the name without additions and hyphens.

Be sure your first idea is as good as you think it is. In many cases itīs worth thinking twice about it.
