i presume you refer to southern irland/repubic of irland.

i am not sure of laws there, though they as the uk are in the eu, so eu law has a big play.

in the uk porn films are now legal. this is only in the last few years (due to a big legal case).

however porn films (such as dvd's) that are porn (r18) have to be sold in licenced sex shops and not mail order (a bit pathetic realy).

porn on the net is fine. give or take uk and usa laws on what is and is not ok are basicly the same.

in some ways uk law is relaxed as you do not need id or the models. but most people (inc myself) get two forms of id plus model release.

All films (inc non porn) must go through the film sensers (at a cost of £2k or more). though porn on the net is as yet not included though one suspects they will try to make people.

in recent years some s and m stuff has become illigall, as it was sugested it was the result of s and m porn in a recent legal case. though later it was found it had not been used.

all actors must by law be 18 or older.
