When I last moved host, a few years ago, the host I was moving from also did everything htey could to make it a real pain to move out. They blocked my new host's IP, they throttled the throuput level, changed passwords unexpectedly, and so on. Ask to see if there is anything you can do to make it go faster or if they have specific questions about a script or so which you could answer fast for them. Another thing to take into consideration, are they doing the switch for free or do you pay for the move? If they do it without cost to you, I guess one can accept that it takes a bit longer.
Nevertheless, 15 days should earn you a decent update at least.

Ouch, yea the host I just left (moku) got all upset with me and told me I had 24 hours to cancel my account after I notified him I would be changing hosts lol. I can see what you mean, these ppl get butt hurt about that stuff lol.
