yeah, honestly it's one of those games where you're like " WTF is the point" at first, then the story kicks in real good and you realize the game's awesome.
Grand theft is overrated, the controls suck ass and the story isn't that hot either.
My recommendation is to play Red Dead linearly, meaning go right from mission to mission and you'll see how fucking awesome it is.

When I was finished it, that's when I bought GTA4 cause I wanted a little more of the same, and found out .... they're not as alike as everyone thinks.

I checked my stats, 159 hour of gameplay on RDR for me so far, 50 cents an hour is an okay rate for me
