So the lack of responsibility on behalf of the White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs is your justification? And yes all the major networks reported on it in someway or another seeing how it came from the Associated Press.
Even after it was reported the White House didn't even issue a statement saying the report was false and inaccurate, they simply said nothing when asked.
