During the beta phase there would be 0 advertising.

Once the system is live we expect we'll need a max of 20% of advertising (more likely 10%) space to operate the system well. The price of bandwidth on content delivery services for large usage is roughly $1 per meg. If we can reach 1000's of sites using the same system it will consume enough bandwidth to get those type of prices. Another benefit of a large system is the ability to sell advertising at bulk rates. This bulk rate opportunity would extend to every site on the network essentially increasing the value each site could make compared to if they were selling directly standalone (this would be opt in of course). Sites are run on their own domains. If they decided they don't like the advertising setup it would not be difficult for a successful site to switch to their own in house script if the site was large enough to support it.

Most large tube sites operate on huge margins. The biggest ones over 90% profit.
