It could be a sane thing to sell at least part of your holdings soon. The only reason to keep holding is if you believe the USD will be devalued greatly or if you think a terrorist strike/war with Iran (or one of the other strategic and oil rich countries) is near.
Perhaps today's action was from the World Bank president stating that some variation of the gold stanrdard ought to be considered.
