Im not sure how much weight can be put onto YouTube comments....I sure wouldnt utilize that as a measure to garner the success of a viral video or campaign of this magnitude.
However, in terms of the perception that he made his money purely out of his ass....I dont think that could be further from the truth.
He has a number of investments, and actually has a book called "The 50th Law" that breaks it all down.
While details were exaggerated..now that the dust has settled it has been proven that he actually banked over $100 million dollars....AFTER taxes...solely on the deal that he broked through Vitamin Water and his Formula 50 energy drink.
Lots of rappers got lucky, even more of them go bankrupt after blowing all of their coin. This guy is NOT one of them.
