unfortunately events that take place in the political sphere can have a dramatic effect on the porn industry, affiliates and making money. I will grant that many of the posts tend to not make a connection with our industry
(they are more like flame wars), but then again people enjoy expressing their opinions and the threads can get a ton of views. So people like reading them too.
I have been trying to avoid them myself with mix results, I am almost like a moth to a flame
