You actually buy real ad spot there, one of the rare place where you actually can buy banner spot on the site you want. Their site is well done too, you can sort by alexa, amount of clicks, niche etc...

I used juicy ads - it was awesome to watch the CTR ratio double just from changing the ad - loved it. thanks for all the great advice everyone.
