its possible that object is far further from the sun than is suggested from the video, but still anything we know to be solid would be toast.

Yea I agree with your theories, I'm not sure, I really wonder if it is what they will announce..
If it was a spacecraft it would be three times the size of Jupiter.
I also read this:
