Just a little mountain town in the boondocks of British Columbia. The bears should be pretty much asleep soon. Was surprised to see that one last night., but he was a big boy, so he's probably riding the fall out until he's absolutely gotta go away. Probably be my last chance to pop a couple rounds off for the year. Bears are routine here, hard to go a day without seeing at least one. At one point this summer I had 3 full grown bears on my deck at the exact same time trying to get to my bird feeder. Broke another record this summer and saw 6 in one walk to the grocery store (2 blocks). A couple weeks back I was literally within 10 feet of a smaller one, probably a yearling. If you just run at them yelling they'll split most of the time, but I prefer to reach out and touch them with the wrath of my paint.
I had a friend crashing at my place a little while ago, because a bear literally ripped the door to her house open and came right in the kitchen looking for food.
