EXACTLY
When I started riding street bikes many years ago my uncle who was a 30 year veteran of the CHP told me:
"When you climb on that bike you and it effectively become invisible, I can't tell you how many car vs bike accidents I've been to but they all had one thing in common, the words
vehicle driver states that he did not see the motorcycle are in
all of the accident reports"
Aside from the accidents I've had I've also had enough near misses where car drivers tried to run me over to realize just how true his words were.
