The automatic site verificationn could be put together. Ban all free hosted URLs and whatnot, give the user a specified .html file which needs to be uploaded. Then verify the URL it has been uploaded to in the system. Something like that could work to an extent, it wouldn't solve all the problems though. It could probably be cheated easily enough y someone looking to do so too.

Why not open a paid section, as opposed to makig the whole forum paid? You see this on a lto of mainstream forums. Charge $100/year or something for access to the paid forum. Only people who pay to get in are allowed in, only business is allowed, and failure to adhere to the rules in said section results in forfeiture of your fees and access. It gives the serious members a place to hang out and discuss biz, some people would ever leave this area, and the hangers on a surfers still have access to the rest of the forum. The $100/fee should more than pay for the mod's time taken to verify industry role and perhaps even hit up references to verify industry participation, while adding an additional revenue stream to gfy...
