Presumably the documents aren't really all that important... if they were, Wikileaks would be gone already. Why is it that the U.S. government can seize dozens of domains of alleged music / product pirate sites right away and yet can't shutdown Wikileaks ... doesn't jibe.
Past "leaks" haven't revealed much that wasn't already publicly known - at most, these "leaks" are revealing more detail, but nothing earth-shattering. Abuses by the U.S. government? Sadly, that's old news with relatively little public outrage.
I guess it's just me, but Wikileaks doesn't seem overly exciting ... if anything, it's probably some pysops by the CIA, et al to shift public attention away from other matters; justification for further military action / government involvement to stop the "leaks".
