As if Germany is on the receiving end of financial aid. Last time I checked, the German economy is the one who pays the bill and gives financial support to its weaker neighbouring economies.

The ratio of debt to GNP is still smaller than it has been in previous times and the U.S. still has the largest economy on the earth...by far...over any other country...which makes the U.S. no where near to being bankrupt. The U.S. provides more financial aid to other countries than any other country on the earth.
