I came across an article on gawker about a couple who sold all there belongings and took a 2 year trip around Asia, Russia, and Africa on the ground in a Landcruiser. Gawker referenced to a expedition forum where the couple documented there on land trip through the democratic republic of congo in africa. One of the most controversial and poorest places on planet earth. They person telling the story was also a great writer for someone who uses english as a 3rd language. This read sucked me in.
