Sorry 488, I know i am extra heavy on the
tonight. We Americans have to smile. It is sort of like the Robin Quivers nervous laugh.
For me, maybe it comes from delivering 30,000 pizzas and never letting the customer see me unhappy.
I am cussing and grouching on the way but at the door I am all smiles for 15 secs. It is being professional. I wont let you see me down. So I smile all the time.
And in about 1990 I noticed that smiling to the new generation hurt my tips. lol True. They dont respect happiness.
So I learned not to be too smiley.
Or I got no tips.
I will prob smile when the Titanic finally sinks.
