You're confusing being hustled with being swindled. Hustled is if a scratch golfer told you they were 12 handicap, played you for money and took you to school.

I can't say I appreciate the swindle, but I can appreciate the hustle.

Edit: nvmd, didn't realize YOUR defition of hustle is one of the definitions of it.
