so if you send out a mailer offering a special price you have to change all your existing members to the lower price?

i agree if you change your price point perminently then you should change it for everyone but what would be your explaination to the huge price cut? you could send them a "i'm sorry i've been over charging you $20/month" email but i don't think that would go over well.

this is a good question to ask porn.com did they lower all their existing member's price?

sometimes stuff like that can backfire. i got direct tv a few years ago and a month later cox called me up and offered me a great price to return. instead of being thrilled, i was pissed and asked the rep how they could offer me this great deal now but couldn't when i was a customer.
