While shooting " anthing that moves" there was a scene that called for my face to get slapped... and slapped hard by Selena Steele, whom anyone knows gets off on that sort of thing... John shot about 25 takes but to tell you the truth I started to get punch drunk and am not sure. I took my smacks and didn't complain.
In fact, I would do it again.
John had a way about working that inspired folks to go the extra distance. His porn pretty much set a standard which so many others try to measure up against, and usually fail, because none would put the sort of creativity, intensity, and passion into shooting that John did.

I agree with everything you posted above. He was truly a MEGA-icon. He added much to porn, and I will always be grateful for the chance to perform/observe-and-learn from watching him as a director/videographer on his sets (once when I was performing in his "Dirty Tricks #1" with Lana Sands and Kirsty Waay; and,later in his "Fresh Meat #7 where he let me perform with Jewel Valmont and Kurious ---John had a special eye for the right angles, and for sexy girls to book. He was truly a Porn Artist (and one heck of a great performer, too!!!). RIP, John.
