Wow, thats terrible. Im shocked to read what you just said about your experience in Sweden. I was unaware of any civilized country in the world that denies people held in custody the right to speak to a lawyer.
Just to clarify something, I meant to say 24/7/365...not just 24 hours. In that case it is the same as Guantánamo.
Further to this his Australian lawyers have stated on the news that the Swedish warrant is just a stepping stone to get him extradited by the US, so its very possible that he may in fact end up in Guantánamo.
