I miss the Half Life/Counterstrike days. It really felt balanced.
These days the games move wayyyyy too fast --and you have to remember that the younger you are, the more time you have. Kids play that shit all day and night, and that's usually all it takes to become a master.
I don't play any multiplayer in these modern FPS shooters. I get too frustrated because as soon as I pop my head out I get nailed 50 times, and I never see the shooter the majority of the time.
One tip I can give is to always shadow a teammate, and wait for them to get popped.
