And they don't just die. Hospitals have to treat everyone the same, insurance or not. And your taxes keep going up because of the uninsured in the hospitals - someone has to pay for those bills.
A lot of people that have good jobs no longer have insurance. Many companies took that benefit away to save money.

Not to mention the one point that should pretty much end the discussion; The United States already spends more per capita on health care than most socialized medical systems.
You're already spending more than say Canada, per person, on healthcare yet you don't guarantee healthcare to all of your citizens. Crazy, isn't it?
