Affiliate Ball - my new thing - January 10th Vegas - Players Ball is the 9th - A new era beings as..

I've been getting a ton of emails about my new event, AffiliateBall.com. So I wanted to clear up some confusion on my events since I have 2 parties for 2 different industrys, back to back nights.

After a very fun ride with the Players Ball over the last 13 years, the days of the massive crowds at shows and huge artists are sadly gone. I'm trying to make this Players Ball on the level of the past ones, but sponsor support is non existant.

So I'm taking my talents to mainstream... lol

Yeah, I got fucked over by LeBron, so I'm using his words.

Will the Players Ball end? Don't know. But there IS a Players Ball on January 9th in Vegas for all of Internext. We do have artists performing at the moment and Sapphire as the venue, so the show will go on. If it's the last one, you'll want to be there. I'm still hopeful some company out there will want to grab a main sponsorship and we can have Three 6 Mafia perform that night (or someone else big).

Meanwhile, I'm very happy to announce that the magic isn't gone, the Ball vibe will live on in a parallel universe many of you have already crossed over to. The Affiliate Summit has never had a Players Ball like event that caters to the whole show, so I'm doing it, Affiliate Ball. Sponsorship support has been great, reminds me of the old days in adult.

D-Money will continue trying to do Players Balls at adult shows if the support is there while Darren is spinning off into other industrys with big events. Affiliate Ball being the first of many. This Affiliate Ball already locked in Three 6 Mafia, we'll be throwing that event at the Crown Theater at Rio. The Affiliate Ball is 100% mainstream, no adult mixed. But we do have sponsorships for hosting, designers, dating programs, etc, incase any of you are interested.

I expect this first Affiliate Ball will be packed, 3000 invited guests with more that will be stuck outside, not getting in. History repeats, it's like going back in a time machine.

Thank you to all of my supporters with the Players Ball over the years, my brother KB, sponsors, guests, haters (you know you still loved it), AVN, XBiz, Cybernet, the Ju Tang Clan and all of the beautiful women that hit on me because I looked hot in my pimp suits!

I'm not saying good bye, I'm still trying to hold on to the Players Ball in adult. But I have to admit, if the support isn't there it's not worth doing. Unless it's fun and has major artists performing, I'll focus on other things including the Affiliate Ball and my marketing firm.

For those that have been on the ride, the Players Ball started in 1999 in Vegas and we had over 2000 people at the very first one. Then we moved into C2K for about 7 Players Balls and packed a 3 level venue with an average attendance of 3,500 people, all invited guests from our industry trade show. We packed huge venues all this time until the last couple of years. The fall is the Players Ball is a reflection of our industry, companys need to make money to invest on parties. I hope things pick up.

We've had Snoop Dogg, Xzibit, Cypress Hill, Doug E Fresh, Digital Underground, Slick Rick, George Clinton, Ice-T, Ice Cube, E-40, Lil Jon, Mack 10, Too Short and so many others over the years.

Hopefully we can continue the tradition of the longest running and largest adult webmaster event of all time, but if it ends with this next one I'm happy I did it because it was fun.
