Years ago my wife and I came up with "sex names". I was Zachary Polo. She was Bambii Forrest. Her best friend was Nikki Valentine. They used to joke around that they had an escort service called "N&B Services" - including some goofy letterhead they made up.
Years later... My wife's best friend is our daughter's god mother. My daughter's first name is Nicole, and her middle name is Valentine. We tell our kid that her middle name is Valentine because my wife and I met on Valentine's day, but the truth is more like my kid's name is a secret throwback to our best friend and our daughter's god mother. Shhh.
