yeah 275 is the height I think (they call it something else, cant think off the top of my head)
Sounds like he is an old tire sales guy. I think he meant to say 275/50/15 which is about right.
Anyhow all this car talk was cause Dave likes cars and was a friendly gesture to start a dialogue.
