I remember having a beeper! It was years ago, and at the time, in the UK they were very uncommon...
I wore it with pride (lol) but started getting a lot of attention from 'undesirables' who would try and make my acquaintance... Turned out that they associated the beeper with the theory that it meant I was a drug dealer !!! LOL
