Deadly force should only be used by equal deadly force. Some cops are scared out of their mind, and this is why this kind of shit happens. The situation went from "hey put the knife down" to bang bang in about 2 seconds.
So apparently the guy had a history of being a pain in the ass, but you can't just shoot the guy for not being compliant. This cop should be in prison.
I still won't condemn the entire police force when this happens. The good stuff cops do never gets released.
