America is outperformed in pretty much everything other than blowing shit up and swallowing third world economies, and it's average citizen doesn't amount to much more than dancing monkey that perform tricks for breadcrumbs. Once it was a country looked upon globally as something great, a nation who stood up against oppression and brought freedom and liberty to it's people. It's essentially become everything it once stood against, and the rest of the world can see that now. Americans really really REALLY don't like being told that either. They'd much rather close their eyes and ignore the simple fact that nobody likes them because they are the global douchebag. Then when it comes down to it, their only defense to the accusations is to fall back on Big Brother's firepower, which will gleefully be turned upon them too if need be. They could easily lead the world in education, health care, social services, and scientific progress, yet all they do is build more weapons to blow more shit up for their corporate overlords...
