1. A free email account doesn't look very professional... Who would you trust more:
[email protected] or
[email protected]?
2. Most free email providers's TOS state that they own the information that passes through their service.
3. In computer security there's the concept of the CIA triangle: Confidentiality, integrity, availability. How can you guarantee confidentiality if you hand part of your infrastructure over to a 3rd party that provides a free service and offers no guarantees about security, tells you they are not responsible for loss of data,...?
