Neglected to fully answer Ron's question about the potential cost of letting it go.
As I mentioned, this will be my personal blog. If it just sits there and generates yawns, then there's no reason to even worry about it. If it becomes the second coming of Shit My Dad Says, then I'll be kicking myself for years if I don't have the plural version of the domain as well as the singular. (No, this domain doesn't have "shit" in it - so I'm not worried about having a domain name with "shits" in it
