I understand your point but piracy like any economic activity is all economics. The thinly capitalized amateur pirates will be the ones discouraged by this dispaly of raw ownage. However, those who are looking at it as a business (financiers/local big bosses) will have to adapt either through technology (communications/coordination) OR just stepping up the raw numbers of pirate teams they send out so that the ones that get horrifically get smoked are compensated for by some successful hesits.
