Remember, watches are jewelry and are extremely POOR financial investments. Only in rare cases would you EVER recover your initial investment in a sale.
Now that is a watch, brings back many happy memories - then reminds me of the bitch who kept it when she dumped me.

Liking the Tag you have picked out, but you've missed the point about retaining value - you buy a nice watch because it DOESN'T retain value. It's 100% needless and mostly wasted spending - but get the right one and it'll make you happy every time you check the time.

At the time I owned the Seiko divers, it was the most I could afford but was exactly what I wanted so I loved it. Moved on to an Omega Seamaster (wearing it today cause its the most comfortable to wear) then moved on again to Rolex Sea Dweller (I don't like the magnifiers - its the divers watch without it) - Next on the list? Something from IWC.

There is only one item of jewellery a guy can wear and it's a watch, so you might as well make a statement.
