I’m sorry, but your are mistaken about what transpired. You did not simply fill out an application. You signed a contract and opened an account. You checked off a box stating that you had read the terms and conditions and that you agreed to be charged the rates and fees, and you also signed the contract online indicating that you agreed to the terms and conditions. For your reference, below is a screen shot from the application/contract you signed. All terms and fees were disclosed on the Pipeline Data application/contract. I have attached a copy of the terms and conditions you agreed to when you signed up.
You also received 2 welcome emails, attached, that clearly explain that an account was created for you.
Regarding the “review” below you sent, it is filled with inaccuracies and the website you got this from is not an unbiased website. They are in the merchant account business themselves and profit from bashing other companies. For example, we have an A-rating with the BBB, not a sub-C rating, as they suggested.
Below is the screenshot of your signature. Please re-read the top checkbox item because that is what you agreed to. There was nothing on the page to suggest that this is an application only and it clearly states that you are agreeing to be charged the rates and fee and that you agreed to the terms and conditions.

Overview:
With a great domain name like Charge.com, I would expect this company to be at the top of the food chain, but unfortunately I was wrong. I expected to find a spotless record of great customer service and ethical business practices but unfortunately, I was wrong again. I'm not saying that Charge.com is all bad, but the countless public complaints of undisclosed contract terms & fees, withholding of funds, horrible BBB rating and bad customer service are hard to ignore. Not to mention that their parent company Pipeline Data Processing Inc. has two separate Better Business Bureau (see below) listings with sub C ratings. That is not good fellas.
I think it would be wise to keep in mind that since Charge.com is one of the larger ISO/MSP's out there, they'll obviously have more negative reviews than their smaller competitor's. Which is one of the reasons why I gave them a 3 out of 5 instead of a lower score. I didn't want to hold their size against them too much. With that said, instead of basing your judgement on the sheer number of complaints, it would be better to look at the commonalities amongst them and use that as your bargaining chip.
Add to that; no social media profiles (i.e. Twitter or Facebook), old testimonials that are hard to verify, a $300 cancellation fee and you have yourself a 3 out of 5.

Check out RipOffReport.com with 22 reports (as of this review), ePinions.com (Pipeline Data Inc.), a wonderful thread at paypalsucks.com and a personal account from a blogger who had a less than stellar experience with them.
Common Complaints:
1. Bad post-approval customer service.
2. Withholding of funds. This is usually the third-party processor or the bank's fault. Better MSP's will work with you to get those funds released.
3. Undisclosed charges (PCI compliance fee $150).
4. Undisclosed contract terms (36-months).
5. Undisclosed cancellation fee ($300).
Verifiable Testimonials/References:
I attempted to contact all of the testimonials that were listed on the Charge.com site, and was unable to receive a response from any of them. A couple of the companies looked like they were out of business. It might be time for Charge.com to update those bad boys.
Security/Privacy:
The Charge.com site is "https" secured, but not sure by which company. They do have a decent privacy policy.
Customer Service:
A business partner of mine has personally dealt with their pre-approval customer service, and He said that they were quite pleasant and knowledgeable. I haven't dealt with their post-approval customer service, but judging from the complaints (see below), I'm not too impressed.

This is getting forwarded to BBB to resolve if you do not close my account after refunding me my money stolen out of my bank account prior to christmas. I contacted the PCI number who is Cynergy Data which was only an answering service and said I had to request refund from Charge.com. You did not disclose any PCI fee of $185 to me and this will be last email prior to contacting BBB to resolve.
Your choice, let me know if you intend to do nothing.

Under rare circumstances the processor may eat the fee for accounts that are doing heavy volume. Unfortunately, your account would not qualify for that. Also, the fee is in line with other processors. If you would like to terminate your account you'd have to follow proper protocol with respect to the terms and conditions you agreed to. out of my account. I never used this account, had no idea it was active,

I just left you a message. I never went ahead and used charge.com or your
corresponding CC processor, Cynergy Data, for my websites.
I remember speaking with you back in September saying that I was not going
to use charge.com as I found another processor.
Cynergy just took out $185 for PCI FEE and I want it returned to my bank
account. After this is done, please destroy my documents which have my
personal information especially my bank account.
Obviously you can understand my concern and I will follow up with this issue
through my own channels if not taken care of immediately.
