sorry but marijuana related deaths are also all the (driving etc) accidents etc caused by people who got stoned..most people who die by alcohol die by other accidents while they are drunk and not alcohol poisoning..you make accident while stoned or drunk - same shit! So marijuana has its share of deaths.Or atop counting alcohol RELATEd death and only count death directly caused by alcohol..
similar is with cancer and marijuana - nicotine also doesn't cause cancer itself but we all know how many people get cancer due to heavy cigarette smoking...similar is with marijuana and smoking (i dont know in usa but in many countries they mix it with tobacco).
also deaths are not really the only factor to consider - wasted,ruined life (drug abuser & family etc) is far worse.SURe there are much more lives ruined by alcohol but i have seen my share of potheads who ruined their life and their friends by being stoned most of their days. like it or not it ruins lives too..
and before someone jumps one me - i am all for at least decriminalization ,if not legalization, of marijuana...
