they've done studies following up big lottery winners - most regret winning the millions, it turned their lives upside down, changed how their friends and family treated them, targets for every investment scheme/scam, many end bankrupt

having that much money is a job in itself.

first job is hiring a top lawyer and accountancy firm to advise me and get the money safely invested until I can figure out what to do with it.

i'd buy a very nice home for 3-5M depending on where it's located, no more than 5000 sq feet, maybe 7500 sq feet. Then comes taking care of family and a few close friends.

If we're talking 355 million then I'd set up a charitable foundation and decide how much a year I'll give to charity. I wouldn't be handing over millions to big corporate type charities.
I'd like to find individuals and groups who really need immediate help.
