This is great advice.
I've got about a decade into this biz and I would have to say the ego seems to be the downfall for many. It's more addictive than cocaine- people start drinking their own kool-aid and lose sight of what's important. They start promoting themselves in place of the brand and in the process they take their eyes off the bottom line.
