although rats are nasty.. odor of bums is terrible.. worst if they piss or shit themselves right there.
i rode plenty of nyc subway at nights back when i was younger, never seen a rat or mice in the car.. but people, hate when people litter shit everywhere except garbage disposal cans, or yell like no one else is riding there with them.
forget about youngsters letting elderly or pregnant have a seat when trains are full.
