i have seen a lot of usa stand up, and its not that good.
the sitcoms are fantastic, but stand up is just all the same.
even when somone does some good stuff they just repeat the same jokes, such as emo philips, each time i have seen him its the same gags each time.
i have seen the usa roasts which seem to have started too in the uk, but its not as sharp to me.
we have for years mocked everyone and everything. we woulkd burn the union jack for a giggle. this is not somthing you would do in the usa.
what ricky did was great. he pushed the bounderies. to bew honest there are many uk comics who would consider that mild, and would be far more insulting and ruder.
